The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information:

• Personal identifiers - your name and contact details

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

to advise you if the class is cancelled

to let you know of events run by the club

to let you know what dances I’ll be teaching

We use the information that you have given us in order to keep you updated with club news.

I collect your details from you with your consent.

I only store your name and number on my phone and will not pass your details on to anyone else. I need your details to keep you informed about the club.

On the sheet requesting your details, I have asked you to tick if you are happy to be added to a WhatsApp group. By ticking this box you are giving permission for your number to be added to a group where other dancers will see your number.

I will regularly check the details held and if you no longer come to the class I will remove you from my phone. If you wish me to delete your details you may advise me at any time.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
